Food for thought:

Clean, efficient and self sustaining energy: Technology or Mentality?

As our populations start to rise "science" plays a key role in quality of life whether through work, safety, security, entertainment and so on. So much so that I’ve seen and heard many people say that science is the key to fixing almost all of our problems. From current day issues like starvation and healthcare to future issues like the energy or water problems you hear so much about. The reality is that “science” is not key by any stretch of the imagination.

Why? Money. We already HAVE the tools to make each household self sufficient. We already HAVE the technology to help supply basic needs to the world. Money is the problem.

Thinking back, wasn't money created to seperate kings from pesants? Wouldn't that mean that a huge foundation of our world is built upon a concept of prejudice... ?

Fact is: There is no amazing scientific discovery that will solve everything.

The issue is in the economy and I believe radical change in the economy is the fastest surefire answer to these impending crisis'.

Then something else occured to me... what makes the economy so powerful? What if I suggested that its power comes from morality.... ?

Where am I going with this? Consider a few facts:

Trillions of each contries unit currency are spent yearly on the defense of every country. For eg the US: Your average soldier costs around $300,000 to train, equip and pay. They also boast 7000 nuclear warheads each costing $20Mil. Over the next 10 years they are referbing these 7k warheads costing $682 billion. This doesn't include the cost of everything else.

Now Imagine a world where no conries exist and we have the money to solve all our problems. Money that can be fed back into the system instead of on excessive precautions.

Now imagine a redesigned & revolutionized justice system. A place of reform, self improvement & second chances instead of isolation, abuse and being released just as damaged and isolated. A HUGE % of prisons are filled with petty criminals who've had unforunate lives. This doesn't help them OR our economy? A world driven by support will reciprocate positivity & real change instead of compounding productivity and quality of life.
