R. Vanlaltlana
Mr. R. Vanlaltlana hails from Aizawl, Mizoram https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mizoram . He was born to be the youngest son among the three sons of Mr. R. Lalthakima and Mrs. Nukungi. He belongs to The Salvation Army denomination http://www.salvationarmy.org/ at large and Aizawl Bethel Corps in particular, and has voluntarily involved numerously in the Church ever since he was a toddler. He has done his education till Bachelor of Arts (Education Honours) from Shillong, after which he pursued for his theological education and training from Serampore College http://www.seramporecollege.org/ and NIIPGTS (Kolkata) http://niipgts.net/ , Bachelor of Divinity and Master of Theology (New Testament) respectively. He is married to Khatoli, a Sumi Naga from Dimapur, Nagaland https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nagaland . She too is a theologian with her Bachelor of Divinity degree. Their love story dated back to their Serampore College days where they were destined to meet as students. They got married in the year 2012, 12th October and they were blessed with a daughter born on 31st December, 2013. They christened her Emma Lalawmpuii. Mr. Vanlaltlana has served as an Associate Professor of New Testament in Master's College of Theology, Visakhapatnam https://mctvizag.wordpress.com/ for a year, in 2014-2015. He is now serving under Bible Society of India http://www.bsind.org/ as a Translations Adviser/ Translations Officer since August, 2015. He is presently posted in Shillong Translations Center http://www.bsind.org/department.html , Shillong Meghalaya where he and his family reside.
