DJ, Composer, and Music Producer in Santa Monica, California
Rick Dixon a Filipino American professionally known as R1ckOne, is the owner of 3013 Music & Media Group; he is a world class dj, composer, music producer and voting member of the Recording Academy.
Once becoming the dj for the underground hip hop group Blood of Abraham who were once signed to the late Eazy-E (Ruthless Records/Mastergrip) in the 90's he then met his biggest influences, those were people within the circle of the Black Eyed Peas family.
Polo Molina of Grassroots and Black Eyed Peas management gave R1ckOne his first shot in the LA circuit, he has played for the Oscars, Grammy's, A-list celebrities, network and corporate events for film, TV and held nightclub residences worldwide.
With his skills and knowledge of music he was chosen to be the exclusive dj for Fred Segal in Santa Monica, for will.i.am's clothing line "I.Am" and taught the fundamentals of dj'ing during after school programs in support of the Black Eyed Peas Peapod Foundation.
R1ckOne learned to create music from being in studio sessions with will.i.am for many years, he has worked with some of the most influential people in the industry, helping craft the sound for hits like “Hey Mama” by the Black Eyed Peas; and “Paper Doll” by Sharon Little where he worked with legendary producer Don Was (The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan).
3013 works include projects with Alex Cantrall, Amber Riley, Black Eyed Peas, Blood of Abraham, Cody Longo, Crazy Town, DJ Snake, Don Was, Drew Seeley, Eleven Past One, Eva Simmons, Flo-Rida, Hook & Sling, Kaya Jones (Pussycat Dolls), Madcon, Maxim of Prodigy, Shifty & The Big Shots, Tino Coury, Too Short, T-Mills, T.I., Sharon Little, The Randies, will.i.am, W3TheFuture and Zendaya.
