Rick Dixon a Filipino American professionally know as R1ckOne, is the one of the founding members of 3013 Music Group; he is a world class dj, music producer, songwriter and voting member of the Recording Academy.
Once becoming the dj for the underground Hip Hop group Blood of Abraham (RuthlessRecords/Mastergrip) in the 90's he then met his biggest influences, those were people within the circle of the Black Eyed Peas family.
Polo Molina of Grassroots and Black Eyed Peas management gave R1ckOne his first shot dj’ing in the LA circuit, he has played for the Oscars, Grammy's, A-list celebrities,corporate events for Film, TV and held nightclub residences throughout the United States.
With his skills and knowledge of music he was chosen to be the exclusive dj for Fred Segal in Santa Monica, for will.i.am's clothing line "I.Am" and even taught the fundamentals of dj'ing during after school programs in support of the Black Eyed Peas Peapod Foundation.
R1ckOne learned to create and write music from being in studio sessions with will.i.am for many years, he has worked with some of the most influential people in the industry, helping craft the sound for hits like “Hey Mama” by the Black Eyed Peas; and “Paper Doll” by Sharon Little where he worked with legendary producer Don Was (The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan).
