R. DAVIS
I've always wanted to write. I spent over thirty years working in government, of which six of those years were devoted to the military. Over that time, I've written reports, studies, essays, plans of all kinds, policies, ordinances, and statutes. I wrote tons of boring and uninteresting papers, and sometimes I wrote some things I even enjoyed. But now, I live in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and I find a lot of satisfaction in writing what I want to write about, and I don't want to lock myself in to just one genre. "Coincidents--The Last Calling" is a work of fiction with a little American history worked into it as an inspiration for the plot, but there are other common parallels that can be drawn concerning war, and what happens to our warriors when they are passing footballs and chasing the girls one day in the real world and the next moment they're witnessing the horror of war. If they survive the experience and return home, nothing is ever the same again. I hope you'll read the book, and of course I'm very interested to hear your thoughts as a reader.
