Rodrigo Fernandez Tinoco

Possessing 20 years of experience in the Venezuelan and American financial industries, Rodrigo Fernandez Tinoco currently serves as director and founder of Barnett Capital Bank on the Caribbean island Commonwealth of Dominica. Before beginning his career, he attended the Universidad Metropolitana in Caracas, Venezuela. After he completed his studies, he went to work as assistant to the general manager of Pinturas Pinco Pittsburgh, also located in Caracas. This position required Rodrigo Fernandez Tinoco to perform financial analyses, reconcile accounts, and oversee general accounting.

Subsequently, Tinoco moved to the United States and attended Miami Dade Community College. After two years of postgraduate work at the school, he became the sales and project manager at the I&R Group, Inc., in Miami. Responsible for product ratability and analysis, Rodrigo Fernandez Tinoco created sales plans, product catalogs, and promotional campaigns. Additionally, he introduced options such as customized products.

His tenure at the I&R Group provided him with the expertise to establish his own financial company, the Davos Financial Group. As the director, Tinoco oversaw the development of its private banking services and unique marketing campaigns based on customer type. The company administered an investment portfolio with more than $2.5 billion of assets under management. After six years, he augmented company services by opening Davos International Bank. The firm benefited from his skills at obtaining capital, selecting top staff members, and setting productive policies. In 2010, Tinoco retired from the Davos companies to start Barnett Capital Bank.
