Raashi Bhatnagar
Consultant, Architect, and Artist in Kent, WA
I say I’m in Presales - but what does that mean?
My responsibilities revolve around positioning and pitching products to meet customer needs; however, the approach I take isn’t just focused on functionalities; I paint a vivid picture of possibility and value for my clients. Like an architect designing blueprints of dreams, I guide clients toward transformative outcomes, seeing beyond the technical details to the narrative that captivates hearts and minds.
What sets me apart is not just my technical prowess but my ability to weave stories that inspire, educate, and drive action. I understand that success in Pre-Sales isn’t just about knowing the product; it’s about understanding the client's needs, anticipating challenges, and guiding them toward solutions that exceed expectations.
Execution is the easy part, aligning where you are, with what is needed and how to get there is more than just conducting current and target state analysis and presenting how our product fits those needs. Yes, I need to know how to make a capability map, run reports, or construct a BPMN process with the software. However, equally if not more so, I also need to be able to ascertain the needs hidden beneath the needs that are expressed; realizing that displeasure in data cohesion may have more to do with centralizing disparate sources of information than seeking standardization - even though they’ve come knocking for frameworks.
I believe that every great story begins with a connection. Through webinars, training videos, demonstrations, and consulting work, I continue to bridge gaps in understanding, uncover hidden opportunities, and forge strong, collaborative partnerships.
The architect in me is also human, and as a human, I am ever-evolving and ever-learning. I may not have all the frameworks, coding languages, or specific tool experiences that are sought for in the job description - but why should that stop us from taking a chance with each other?
After all aren’t story weavers the best candidates for exponential learning, since a good story is nothing more than an infinite connection of tiny parts - strung together cohesively? Learning, connecting, and expressing ideas concisely is a facet of my nature.
