My goal is to become an effective advocate for marine conservation by utilizing my communications skills. I hope to inspire others to want to make a difference by showing them that the world is full of amazing ecosystems and unique species that are truly worth saving. The key to my approach is educating the general public about important marine related environmental issues in a way they can understand and relate to while supplying simple everyday solutions along with lifestyle changes. I plan to achieve this through use of video production, social media, writing, public speaking, special events, and other communication tactics that reach a wide variety of audiences.
