Rachael Sophia

At 21 Rachael Sophia has spent most of her time travelling and performing, originally from Brisbane, Australia, she is currently in Los Angeles writing music for her upcoming EP.

She began professionally recording at age 10, when she was scouted at her Primary school, and hasn't stopped since, continually performing and working on music all through her Schooling. Upon graduating in 2007, she enrolled into full time study at the Actors Workshop, where she studied for a year before leaving to travel. It was during her travel that she entered into a performing contest in Canada, where she made it to the final 3 before they choose the winner. It was here that she realised no matter where she was, she could never hide from music. So she purchased a guitar and keyboard and started writing.

It has been non stop since then, collaborting with the best of Australia's music industry, on her upcoming EP due for release early to mid 2012. Taking influences from everyone from Queen, the Beatles, Madonna and Michael Jackson to Katy Perry, Kanye West, Taylor Swift, King of Leon, and her new love, Dubstep. Her abilitiy to enjoy any genre of music has helped in finding a style that possesses the best elements of all the musicians that inspire her. Forever eager to experiment with new sounds, looks and writing styles, she is always in line with the forever changing sounds of popular music. Currently working on a stage show to begin touring with her new music, you can expect to see this upcoming artist popping up everywhere. Watch this space.
