I am a writer and photographer, a nurse, and a cookie maker extraordinaire. I am passionate about hearing people's stories and writing about them.

While I reach people with the stories I tell, and strive to do so, the impact that is made upon me is as significant as the impact I have on others.

For each story I write and every person I meet, I am receiving a gift. I am changed by the people who are gracious and willing to open their hearts and voices to me, and to trust me to put into writing the stories they speak. I aim to return those gifts to the world.

Becoming a nurse was meant to be as I come from a long line of nurses. My abilities to listen and to be compassionate help me as a nurse.
