Rachel Hien

I love to travel, learn about culture and celebrate the diversity of our human experience. I lived in West Africa for six years and nurture my intercultural spirit through my family, friends and profession.

I am passionate about fostering creative, powerful and sustainable partnerships with multicultural, multifunctional teams and develop innovative solutions to local and global challenges. I understand multiple viewpoints in combination with organizational acumen and negotiation skills enable me to develop authentic relationships with colleagues, board members, government bodies, businesses and community leaders.

My professional background includes organizational leadership and program management with service-oriented, non-profit, non-government and government organizations such as PATH, Metta Programs, Mercy Corps, the March of Dimes, and the U.S. Peace Corps where I developed and administered impactful programs in the domains of health and wellness, economic development and community engagement.
