Rachel L.

I am a freelance crafter, gamer, quasi-chef, poet, musician, and music appreciator who is currently 17 years old. My favorite pass-time is gaming with my brother and spending time with my dad. I will most likely work in the English and finance departments when I grow up. I hope to publish poetry someday.

I play piano and clarinet mainly by ear. I cannot read sheet music very well, but I am excellent at playing a song "how it goes". (This includes both the right AND left hands on the piano.) My favorite music to replicate to the best of my ability is video game music and older rock songs.

Speaking of video games, I like the Nintendo 64 the best. It will never not be my favorite console. The Rareware games from the golden age (Banjo-Kazooie, Diddy Kong Racing, etc.) are my favorites.

My poetry is mainly about love and nature. I like to write metaphorically and vaguely so that anyone can relate to even the most complex situation. My goal is to get others to look at life from different perspectives and introduce colorful new metaphorical ways for them to view their situations.

Overall, I enjoy being considerate for others, helping others grow and thrive with me, and enlighten the lives of others with my social, artistic, emotional, and physical presence.
