Rachel Halloran

Rachel Halloran is a first year student in Marketing in the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University. She is expected to graduate early in May of 2017 with her B.B.A. in Marketing.

Being a goal-oriented worker, Rachel comes from a long line of entrepreneurs so growing up around an inventive family has taught her at a young age to think creatively about how to earn money and run a company.Starting several businesses of her own, Rachel is a pioneer in launching business ideas as well as fundraising.

Rachel’s work experience includes being a successful sales associate for On The Run, a specialty shoe store, for over two years. Rachel obtained the knowledge and principles of selling, promoting, and marketing merchandise based on the customer’s needs and desires.

Having traveled to South Africa for three summers in a row, Rachel has not only, raised her own funding to travel overseas all three years but also founded, spearheaded and organized a 5K Fun Run fundraiser to benefit a student running camp in Port Shepstone, South Africa, raising thousands of dollars for the cause.
