Lawyer and founder of the Kugel Law Firm, Rachel has always wanted to make a difference in people’s lives. Rachel is a criminal defense attorney focusing on DWI/DUI cases both in New York and New Jersey. Having defended hundreds of people on charges related to driving under the influence, it’s no wonder that when the media needs an expert, they call her. Rachel is a regular guest on CNN, FOX News, CourtTV, MSNBC, HLN, and many others.
A lawyer that believes that her clients are good people who deserve the best defense possible, she will stand up for individual rights and hold the State to their obligations.
When she’s not zealously defending her clients in court, Rachel gives back to the community by bringing “Mock Trial” programs to middle school students.

Rachel Kugel is the founder of The Kugel Law Firm with offices in New Jersey, and New York, where she concentrates her practice in defending clients charged with DWI in both states.

Ms. Kugel is a member of the National College of DWI Defense and the DUI Defense Lawyers Association. She has been a periodic guest on CNN, HLN, MSNBC and Fox News, CourtTV, and Law and Crime where she has provided legal analysis of cases and current events. She has been invited to speak at conferences related to the business of law for companies including AVVO, and DWI defense strategies for CLE providers throughout New York and New Jersey.

Ms. Kugel received her B.A. from American University and her J.D. from Cardozo Law School, where she served with The Innocence Project.
