Rachel Major

Rachel was born and raised in the greater Grand Rapids area. She attended NorthPointe Christian High School, and then went on to Davenport University, where she graduated with a degree in Business Management, emphasizing on Leadership. She has been involved with mortgage loans and financing for well over a year. She was elected to join Lake Michigan Credit Union's Pride team, where the focus is on being Passionate, Respectful, Innovative, Dependable, and Empowered. She seeks to engage others in keeping the culture thriving, and celebrating with recognition.

After purchasing a short-sale house in 2012, Rachel decided to become a Realtor. At that time, she was a young, nervous, and single first time homebuyer. Though an overwhelming process, her Realtor’s made the 5 month long short-sale process appear to be seamless. They were very prompt, and made sure she felt comfortable with each decision. Rachel never felt pressured throughout the whole experience, and greatly appreciated their guidance and expertise during the largest financial decision in her life. She sincerely enjoyed the process of buying a house, and with her newfound passion decided to pursue this career, so she too could help others with their home buying journey. As a Realtor, Rachel's aim is to treat all of her clients and colleagues with the honesty and respect they deserve.

In her spare time, Rachel enjoys spending time with her husband Denny, and their two cats. She takes full advantage of all Michigan has to offer, from beach volleyball in the summer, to snowboarding in the winter. She enjoys the outdoors, running, camping, and now decorating their house in her latest DIY project. Grand Rapids offers just the right balance of big city convenience, with a small town feel, and with everything this area has to offer, she truly has a passion for Michigan!

Rachel specializes in helping people with all of their West Michigan real estate needs. Her greatest strength is marketing homes through the use of technology, and social media outlets. The real estate industry is quickly moving forward with technological advancements, and she aims to take full advantage of these methods. Currently Rachel’s focus is on first-time homebuyers, experienced homebuyers, and listing and selling homes in the Grand Rapids, Jenison, Caledonia, Allendale, Hudsonville, Kentwood, and Wyoming areas, but she is more than capable of helping you with all of your real estate needs.
