Rachel Stewart, Ed.M.

Student Affairs Professional and #SAPro in Pennsylvania

Rachel is a 2015 graduate of the Harvard Graduate School of Education's masters in Higher Education Program. At HGSE, her coursework explored Title IX, student development, and leadership. As the Graduate Coordinator for Student Leadership Development at the Harvard College Office of BGLTQ Student Life, she worked to support LGBT students and organizations on campus. While at HGSE, Rachel also served as a program representative for the HGSE Diversity and Inclusion Council and an Admissions Ambassador for the HGSE Admissions Office.

Rachel graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2014 with an Honors degree in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. During her four years at UConn, she was deeply involved in a number of organizations, including serving as a Teaching Assistant and Summer Orientation Facilitator for the Violence Against Women Prevention Program, a coordinator of Peer Allies Through Honors, and an Executive Master Coach for the UConn Connects Academic Mentoring Program. She is a proud member of the 2013 Leadership Legacy Cohort and co-founder of the organization Revolution Against Rape.

Currently, Rachel is the Interpersonal Violence Prevention Coordinator at Bucknell University, where she coordinates the Speak UP Bucknell peer education program, educates the campus on sexual violence prevention and bystander empowerment, and coordinates various other education and awareness programs.
