I am a photographic artist based in Norfolk, UK. My work centres on finding beauty in unexpected places, noticing overlooked details and transforming everyday objects into works of art through the camera’s lens.

I find inspiration in hidden details and the everyday world around me. Impermanence, imperfection and intangibility are ever-present themes.

Much of my photography is extremely close-up, focusing on tiny details. These often abstract, ethereal, dreamlike images raise questions in the viewer about our experience of beauty, and whether this comes from association – from our learned reactions of like and dislike – or from direct perception. Do we respond to an image because we think we know what it is, or is it possible to rest in uncertainty and appreciate the reality of an image without reaching instantly for labels and explanations?

I have exhibited widely throughout the UK and internationally.
