I’m a (former academic) psychologist, Jim, but not as you know it. Don’t tell me about your mother. I hear enough from her about you. I teach mathematics, and design a few knitting patterns too.
I used to do so many exciting things, but now I have as much of a life as a seven-year-old permits his mother. Count up to 100, repeatedly. Go through the ABCs. Listen to the latest nursery rhymes and applaud the new dances. Bandage knees and banish nits. But mostly maths, maths, maths…
