Rachel Beth Anderson is a combination of savvy traveler, investigative journalist, and visual story teller who strives to ignite other’s passions with a keen eye and creative style. While holding her North Dakota roots close, Rachel’s cultural intuition coupled with her fearless bubbly enthusiasm have propelled her to bounce all over the globe capturing fascinating stories from behind a camera lens. After acquiring a broadcast journalism degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Rachel has spent her time co-producing award winning documentaries (“Robert F. Kennedy Journalism Award”) and long format projects for PBS Nebraska, ANDRILL (an international climate research project focused on Antarctica), and a Fulbright funded program based in Cairo, Egypt. Moving to San Francisco in 2009 Rachel was able to capitalize on her love of film and photography by producing content for ISHTA Productions while participating as a member of leading interactive technology and creative firm, Obscura Digital. Beyond acting as a “one-woman show,” performing her own shooting and editing, she also excels on-camera as shown by a recent role as a TV host for the Fine Living Network’s “Tips” series. Rachel’s unique blend of passion for cutting edge multi-media, a documentarian’s eye, and an innate human curiosity create an unstoppable fresh perspective that resonates from the innovative products she develops.
