My name is Rachel and i am currently in my last year of my 4 year course, Bachelor of education P-12 at Victoria University.
What led me to teaching? I was in year 9, sat down and filled out a survey in class asking me about my interests and it was to filter through careers that suited my answers. I wanted to be a carpenter or fire fighter... one day my (now inspirational) teacher sat me down and noticing me having a hard time and asked me "why dont you become a teacher? " up until that moment i thought noway! Everyday for a week this teacher would encourage me to do some research and really consider it; so i did. here i am today, an almost fully qualified teacher! i will never forget that conversation i had that day with absolutley inspirational man.
My main areas of teaching are: Health & Human development, Information and communication technology, Student welfare and TAE40104 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (VCAL & VETIS)
