Rachel Hamar

I'm a freelance editor and proofreader, and a qualified teacher. I've worked in the automotive and defence engineering sectors and have ten years classroom experience teaching secondary maths. These days I spend my time making words play nicely together.

I have edited maths textbooks, teacher manuals, online content and scripts for revision videos. I have written maths questions, user manuals, tender documents and schemes of work. I've also worked for business to proofread marketing and promotional brochures and leaflets.

I am an Entry-Level Member of the Society for Editors and Proofreaders.
