My Background

My qualifications include a BA in Spanish, French and German (first class) from Bangor University, an MA in Technical and Specialised Translation (distinction) from the University of Westminster and the Cambdrige Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA). Originally from Hertfordshire, I now live in South East London.

What I offer

EFL classes:

I am a CELTA qualified English teacher and offer one-to-one or two-person classes in central and south-east London. The classes cost £20 per hour for one-to-one classes or £12 per person for a two-person class. I can carry out these classes at various public locations in central or south-east London.

Spanish GCSE and A level tuition:

I can offer tailor-made one-to-one tuition for GCSE and A level Spanish students depending on the specific needs of the individual, whether it's speaking practice or help with grammar etc. If you are looking for lower level Spanish tuition for your child (school years 7-9) please get in touch to discuss exactly what their needs are. Spanish tuition can take place at the students home depending on the location (please contact me for more info about which locations I can cover). Lessons cost £20 per hour.

Proofreading and Translation:

As a qualified translator, I offer proofreading and translation of CVs and cover letters. Please get in touch for a more detailed description of exactly what is included in the proofreading and translation service and how much it would cost. I am able to translate from Spanish and German into British English.
