Rachel Johnson

Hey there, I’m Rachel. I’m a teacher living in the Fraser Valley. I am a fan of reading, food, and coffee. I’m also interested in education and cooking. I am a firm believer in in order to best educate students, we must first get to know the student. I am a resource teacher with a focus on behavioural designations. I am recently taking on the role of co-department head at my school and am incredibly excited about the challenges ahead. I thrive in collaborative environments and am always open to input and constructive criticism. I belive that we all have something unique to offer our students and that we must aim to always be authentic and understanding when working with our students. I have a strong passion for trauma informed education and I am looking forward to gaining a deeper understanding of assessments in Special Education.
