Rachelle Smith, CPFT

Metro Detroit, Michigan

Rachelle Smith, principal and founder of Positive Creative Infusion Consulting, LLC, is an entrepreneur, professional speaker and author, and is based in suburban Detroit, Michigan.

Her entrepreneurial journey began in the 7th grade in Biloxi, Mississippi, when she had her own business selling candy. The spark was lit when she asked her parents to take her to a warehouse club, where she bought her first box of treats. She netted a nice profit, and had to buy a new box every week. A dream was born that would be rekindled several years later.

Rachelle’s family eventually moved overseas to Seoul, South Korea, where she landed her first “official” job as a grocery sacker at the Yongsan Army Base Commissary. She worked after high school and on weekends. The grocery sacker compensation was for tips only. That experience taught her some great lessons that she shares with others today. In that role, she stood out front of her checkout lane and asked customers to choose her lane, by giving a quick pitch in English or Korean. This is one of many life experiences that have shaped her, which includes a passion for embracing individuals from all backgrounds.

Rachelle’s “heart for people” fuels her life purpose, which is challenging, inspiring, and motivating companies, organizations, colleges, and individuals to be the best they can be, and to reach unparalleled happiness and success. An avid writer, she is the author of several books.

She started her corporate career in Marketing in the Betty Crocker Division of General Mills in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She later became a multi million dollar sales producer with other Fortune 500 companies in her Sales and Account Management roles in the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology industries in Detroit, Michigan.

Rachelle graduated from Louisiana State University in Shreveport with a bachelor’s, and later earned a master’s from Florida International University in Miami, followed by a second master’s from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. She is a member of the Northwestern University Alumni Council of 100 (C100), and also guest lectures. In addition, she guest lectures at Louisiana State University in Shreveport. In her spare time, she is a member of several professional organizations, and is a certified personal fitness trainer (CPFT).
