I am currently a directly admitted freshman in the Kelley School of Business, pursuing a degree in Marketing. As a member of the Kelley Living Learning Center, Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization, and Civic Leadership Development through Kelley Institute for Social Impact, I have surrounded myself with dedicated people that aid me in my development as a professional. In high school, I was able to be very involved while also graduating with a 4.2, choosing to be an active member in Mock Trial, which enabled me to think critically and respond quickly to arguments and issues, Volunteer Club which led me to gain empathy and a passion for service, and Outreach for World Hope, a non-profit organization seeking to improve the life of impoverished Guatemalans.
My past and current involvements have allowed me to explore diverse aspects of the world around me, pushed me to be creative in my approaches, and have fostered my inquisitive nature. Being a reflective person, I realize the extent of my growth from my involvements, which motivates me to maintain a balance of extra-curricular activities while also maintaining a strong work ethic so that I can acquire an internship and then a subsequent marketing position. With a marketing position, I can apply my creativity, inquisitiveness, and dedication to develop into a valuable and contributive member of the work force.
