Welcome! My name is Rachel Musch I have just graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. One of the most valued aspects of a classroom is that it promotes creativity and exploration at the student's level. The learning, physical, emotional, and social environments are encouraging and valuable. Not only does my classroom invite family involvment but community involvment as well. Student's funds of knowledge and cultures are explored and valued. I believe in the importance of the process and encourage each child to work at thier own pace!
Creativity is my strong suit. I am an amateur photographer and foodie and also enjoy cycling and collecting records.
UPDATE:
I am currently preparing for my first year of teaching at Maryland School in Phoenix, AZ! I will be teaching first grade and I am overwhelmingly excited to meet my students!
In July of 2013 during my internship at the Children's Museum of Phoenix, one of my craft ideas was featured on the Raising Arizona Kids website. Link.
