Rachel Greenberg
Objects Conservator in Washington, DC
As an objects conservator, I have gained experience from nationally and internationally renowned museums. With an undergraduate background in Art History, I studied abroad in London to earn a Master’s Degree in Classical Art and Archaeology followed by a second Master’s Degree in Museum and Archaeological Conservation. After completing my third-year internship in the Ceramics, Glass, and Metals Section at the British Museum, I stayed on for an additional six months before returning to the States. I have since worked at local institutions as well as completing contracts at two Smithsonian national museums. My responsibilities have included examining, assessing, documenting, and treating a wide variety of archaeological, historical, and modern museum artifacts.
