I'm a British-Canadian fine art photographer – and former journalist – living and working in Vancouver.

In my practice, I explore themes such as a desire for connection with one’s heritage, as well as secrecy, isolation and memory. I'm intrigued by the visual poetry of everyday life and intuitively seek out images speaking to beauty and broader messages in the seemingly mundane.

In 2019 I graduated with honours from VanArts' professional photography program in Vancouver. Since then, my work has been exhibited internationally and received a number of accolades, including four Julia Margaret Cameron Awards. In 2025, I was named a finalist for the prestigious Sony Alpha Female Award.

Previously, I was a digital news exec for companies including Microsoft, CBC News and BBC News. I'm passionate about visual storytelling and interested in the rapidly changing media space.

I also work as an editor and digital and creative adviser. I volunteer as Editor of WE ARE Magazine, the twice-yearly publication of the Royal Photographic Society's Women in Photography group, which showcases the work and stories of female photographers around the world.
