Rachel Overley

Who am I?

A lot of you already know me, but just a brief description: I am twenty-one year old Indiana born Rachel Overley. I am currently interning at Turner Broadcasting, but I will be returning to my residing school of Georgia College & State University in the fall, where I study Mass Communication with a minor in Digital Media. I am a follower of Jesus Christ and will be serving and interning in Tokyo, Japan this summer!

So what’s the mission?

I will be serving through Mission to the World, the global missions sending agency of the PCA. I will be growing alongside trained and experienced missionaries currently living in Japan, and the church I will be attending and serving at is Grace City Church Tokyo. The entire mission of this trip is to ultimately share the gospel to these people with obedience to Christ’s mission, in hopes to see His kingdom grow and make His name known to the ends of the earth. God has provided me with this opportunity to serve the missionaries here, the church and the people in anyway I can! Not only will this be a way to serve, but I’ve also been offered a dual internship here where I can use my abilities in Communication to serve as well. SO COOL!

So when are you going?

I will be going this summer, May 27th to July 25th of 2016!

What do you need?

Prayers! I could use the help and God deserves the glory! Prayers for my support raising, for fears and for boldness as I share my faith. That being said, I am raising support! So the estimated number (for right now) is $8,000. I certainly would love for you to give to God’s mission!
