Rachel Randall

Rachel Randall has lots of muscles from catching flying children at the School of Acrobatics and New Circus Arts (SANCA) where she has been teaching for the past seven years. She is a professional performer, choreographer, circus coach & dance instructor.

This past year, Rachel delved deeper into the circus world. She now has a duo Chines Pole act with Nick Lowery that was premiered at McCaw Hall and has been accepted into the upcoming Vancouver Circus Festival.

In addition to training pole this year, Rachel was the dance instructor for SANCA's Professional Preparatory Program. She also enjoys teaching classes in German Wheel, Unicycle, & general circus classes.

Rachel currently performs with Animate Objects Physical Theater, doing anything from miming to being unicycle barbie. Before that, she danced for DASS Dance, with monthly performances in Seattle & touring to New York.

She has also performed works by Khambatta Dance Company at international dance festivals in Canada, San Francisco, & Seattle, as well as several Seattle Opera productions for roles such as an acrobatic monkey in The Magic Flute.

Ms. Randall holds a Professional Diploma in Dance Studies from Laban in London, & a BA in dance & anthropology from the University of Washington where she received the Award for Outstanding Achievement in Choreography & a full tuition academic scholarship.
