Rachel Schwallie

Rachel Schwallie, a Clarksville, TN native, is currently a junior at The University of Tennessee at Knoxville studying Psychology and minoring in Marketing with an expected graduation date of 2014.
Schwallie's background includes extensive volunteer experience including work with PaceSetters and Amherst Elementary. PaceSetters is an inner-city after-school tutoring program in Knoxville where she tutored students ranging from kindergarten to fifth grade in subjects such as math, reading, science, and social studies. She was also a fifth grade student teacher at Amherst Elementary where she worked closely with the students and organized a group project to aid them in studying for upcoming standarized tests.
Schwallie has worked closely with charitable programs throughout her college career, which benefited The American Heart Association, Girl Scouts of America, Prevent Child Abuse America, and many more. She also assisted her parents in organizing a memorial golf tournament for her brother, which helped raise over $18,000 towards The Wounded Warrior Project, The Fisher House, and TAPS (Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors) organizations.
In her free times she enjoys baking, running with her dog, and watching Game Show Network reruns.
