Rachel Yamin

My philosophy on life is simple: do what you love, enjoy what you have, and take on what you thought you never could. I am a firm believer in that whole "what doesnt kill you makes you stronger theory," and have used the famous mantra to overcome many obstacles in my life, both exterior and personal. Currently I am a full time students at PSU majoring in Kinesiology, an active member of Gamma Sigma Sigma National Service Sorority, writer for Valley Magazine, Physiology Teaching Assistant, Dance MaraTHON commitee member and have taken on many other roles throughout my life (tutor, volunteer, hostess, owner of my own hair accessory busines, etc.) . I am quite a simple person, yet I have interests in about a thousand different things, from the love of the human body and all its capabilities, to the flow and freedom of writing and blogging, all the way to Nutrition, Marketing, Advertising, and even Art History. In my future I long to see myself as a Physical Therapist, allowing others to re-discover and appreciate all the movements that their bodies are capable of. With movement comes freedom and when one has freedom, the boundaries for success are endless. Everyone diserves life without walls and boundaries keeping them from living their lives and pursuing their dreams.
