PhD of the School of Higher Studies in Social Sciences (EHESS, Paris), I am a senior lecturer at the Center for the Study of Religions (UFR CRAC) at Gaston Berger University (Senegal). Visiting professor at Sciences Po Lyon (France), I taught at the University of Perpignan (France, 2007-2015) before attending the Saint-Louis University in Brussels (Belgium). Associate researcher at the CADIS (EHESS / CNRS) and member of office of the LASPAD (UGB), I coordinate the African Observatory of the Religious. Graduate in Sociology, Anthropology and Religious Studies, I am currently working on Islam and pluralism (Europe, Maghreb and Sahel). Consultant, international expert, member of various scientific associations and author of several articles, I published L’Islam d’Occident ? (Halfa, 2012), Musulmans et Catalans, une identité incertaine ? (Trabucaire, 2014) and Rethinking Identity (Halfa, 2015).
