Hi! I'm Rachel Wang, and I'm a Peer Mentor in the Pre-Health Professions Living Learning Community (PHPLLC) at the University of Delaware. I became a peer mentor in Fall of 2021 and have enjoyed working alongside the Graduate Assistant and other CHPS staff. I'm passionate about guiding first-year students on their pre-health professional journey. When I was a freshman, I received guidance from many of my upperclassmen friends, so I hope to pass along that advice and use my pre-med experiences to help others on their own journey.
I'm a senior at the University of Delaware with majors in neuroscience and liberal studies as well as minors in biology and public health. I'm a member of the Medical Scholars Program, Phi Delta Epsilon International Medical Fraternity, and Making Doctors. I also participate in the International Pre-Health Study Abroad Programs with a trip to Trieste, Italy in Winter of 2022 and plans to travel to Athens, Greece in Winter of 2024.
My personal interests include eating great food (especially boba and ramen), planting succulents, playing tennis, and traveling.
Fun Facts: I have traveled to 18 countries! I also have two pet parakeets and some fish!
