Fr. Jonathan Currier
I am the rector (senior pastor) of St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Lancaster, PA. Our worship is steeped in both word and sacrament, combining applied biblical preaching with a relaxed but reverential celebration of the Holy Eucharist each Sunday. We are warm, open, and welcoming... when we say, "The Episcopal Church welcomes you," we really mean it, no matter who you are.
I am also a proud graduate of Harvard, where I studied ancient Near Eastern languages and civilizations, and of Union Theological Seminary in New York City, where I focused on the nexus of psychology and religion.
At one time a passable cross-country runner, I now confine myself to the treadmill and an occasional jaunt in Lancaster Central Park. I love to read, sing, and ham it up on stage ( The Pirates of Penzance, Jesus Christ Superstar, etc.)
And I am, most importantly, the delighted and devoted husband of Ann Wheaton and the father of two grown sons, just now striking out on their own.
