Rae Daniel

Hello! I am currently a graduate student at American University in Washington D.C working on my Masters in Journalism and Public Affairs. I received my MA in Higher Education at Louisiana State University (Geaux Tigers!). I received my BA in both Spanish and Broadcast Journalism at Western Kentucky University (Go Tops!). I am a huge advocate for social justice initiatives and thinking of ways in which we can make this world a little bit smaller. I enjoy being introduced to different cultures, traditions and beliefs because it not only gives me an opportunity to learn about others in today’s world, but an excuse to meet new people, try new foods and travel the world. Being diverse is one thing, but really stepping outside of the box and learning the difference between tolerance and acceptance, is very different. To me it is really important how we as a society can come together and learn how to accept one another’s differences.

In my spare time, I love to go and explore the city that I’m in, whether it is a festival, museum, or special event going on. I also love playing football and golf — and am a HUGE Cincinnati fan – Reds and the Bengals (Who Dey!).
