Raeesa Farooqi is a community builder who is passionate about Calgary's arts & culture sector.

She currently serves as the Business Development & Outreach Coordinator with the Alberta Association of Immigrant Serving Agencies. She is also the founder and co-host of PKP, a podcast dedicated to exploring Indian cinema through a critical lens.

Previously, she has worked with the Calgary Society of Independent Filmmakers, Calgary Arts Development Agency, Artifact Small Format Film Festival, and the Calgary Airport Authority.
