Hello, my name is Raeven Faulkner. I am currently a sophomore at the University of Georgia majoring in psychology with an emphasis in sports. I am looking to obtain a career as a sports psychologist specifically for collegiate and professional athletes. One thing I've always know about me is that I have a passion for helping people especially when it comes to their life experiences and cognition. I have played and been around sports my entire life, therefore I have an increased knowledge about the life of an athlete and hope I can relate and apply this knowledge to my intended career field. In my free time, I enjoy watching sports and listening to various genres of music. I also love going on spontaneous road trips and late night drives with my friends. If one was to ask my friends, they would describe me as very talkative, social, but also laid back and a good listener . These characteristics about me are some of the things I hope will be advantageous to me and my future career.

I was born in Los Angeles, California and moved to Georgia when I was two years old. My parents recently just moved back to California, but Georgia will always be home. An interesting fact about my life is that I have younger twin brothers who are 9 years old. My parents and my entire extended family are from the United States Virgin Islands. Sadly, I have only visited there once but I look forward to traveling back there very soon.
