“Suffering has been stronger than all other teaching, and has taught me to understand what your heart used to be. I have been bent and broken, but – I hope – into a better shape.”
― Charles Dickens, Great Expectations
Greetings and salutations to those that have decided they would like to spend their time reading that which I write.
My name is KG Raevhen.
My upbringing was far from being privileged, but in some ways it was more privileged than most. I never suffered through hunger and starvation and never struggled to find a warm bed or the love of my parents. I never fought to be recognized and never suffered any form of abuse. It was an upbringing which taught me well the lessons of morality and family and the sense of family that some struggle to find.
I cannot say that I was a tortured soul, though some may find that a matter of conjecture.
In my younger years, I spent my primary levels of education at Preston South Primary School, and remember my time there as fondly as I can remember anything in my life. Before completing my tenure there I was taken to a private Greek school by the name of Evangelistria College ( which now is no more). This bastion of education held space for both junior and senior year levels, and I continued there until the commencement of Year 11, whereby my parents decided a wiser move was in need for my education and high school was completed amidst the so-called hallowed grounds of St. Johns Greek Orthodox College.
In essence, I am a simple man with a convoluted heart and a number of regrets that are borne deep within my soul.
This missive that you read, is nothing but a simple attempt at daring fate and placing my writing under scrutiny for the world to see.
