On September of 1905, in the town of Himamaylan, Negros Occidental, a son was born to Ciriaco Ectin and Dolores Genito. They called him Rafael.

Eight years after, in a nearby town called Isabela, a baby girl was born to Ambrosio Hulag-ay and Aurelia Colita. She was named Rosita.

Rafael and Rosita, like most love stories, started as two different people. Later they ventured in a lifetime business called marriage where they joined together and were pronounced as one. Their marriage took place on January 5, 1934 in the bride's hometown. The wedding was officiated by an American Evangelist named Pastor Adams.

After 4 years of marriage, 3 kids were born to them; they were Loida, Maher, and Er.

It was on 1939 where the couple migrated to the Land of Promise in search for a greener pasture.

They settled in a moro-inhabited Tukuran, then a barrio of Labangan, Zamboanga del Sur.

It was there when the World War II disturbed their lives and they evacuated from one place to another.

Antonio, their first baby in Mindanao, was born in Tayaman, Bonifacio, Misamis Occidental. Artaherhis who is known as Bended was born in Linconan of the same town.

Buanerjes (known as Bonner), Salathiel who is nicknamed Toto and Peninah (the second Daughter) were all born in Tayaman.

When peace was restored the couple settled back in Tukuran. There, two kids were born; Roland and Nelson.

The couple lived together for a period of 53 years and 10 children were born to them. Their partnership came to an end when Rafael died in the old age on May of 1987.

However, the story does not end there...
