Software Engineer, Web Developer, and Student in Salvador, Brazil
Hey, I'm Brodinho. "Little Buddy" on a casual translation.
I have a late experience on computing. I speak english by my self and I bought my first computer when I completed 20 years. I felt in love with computing and all around it. Computing opened my eyes to the world.
So I can resume my computing experience on the last 6-7 years. I worked on very different places, all crowded with people who I could learn from. From internship for a health government institution, to telemarketing, finance assistant, IT guy, and now a "wannabe" Software Engineer.
My last experiences over the last years put me in contact with a bunch of technologies. On my last full time job I deepened my knowledge on PHP, PostgreSQL, MySQL, UML. I worked for a Private University. There I developed the process of face-to-face exams for the Distance Education Students.
Sometime after four cycles of that process, I got tired. I realized I need to be more skilled in technologies used around the world. Then I applied myself to an internship on a Lawtech Startup based on my birth city.
There, the challenges were frequent. We got in contact with top-notch software engineers and project managers. So, I joined the "crawling team" to create web spiders for different law and government sources. As well as maintain internal products written in Java and Python. I stumbled with some bits of Scala, Ruby, Bash, Celery and Message Queues, too.
As hobbies, I like to study another languages. For me they are the perfect connection gear to other cultures and experiences. I Also enjoy to play my guitar, scratch some drums and a bit of singing.
Thanks for reading so far. :)
