I was taught the importance of giving back from a very young age. My father forged a partnership between our family business and a non-profit company that rescues teenagers from extremely poor and unstable family backgrounds, providing them with professional education and helping them to secure a job. I taught lessons in Math and Production Planning and mentored Felipe, a young boy with no exposure to the business world. Eventually he was hired into the Inbrape family!

My family has always been passionate about education, and pushing yourself to learn in every aspect of life, learning how to adapt to different environments. Travelling has always been a priority and a passion of mine. I have traveled to more than 30 counties on four continents.

Being an associate of the Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies has taught me the importance of analyzing and discussing the issues facing society and ways to solve them through engaging with the community.

People may be surprised to learn that I am a ballet dancer, a tennis player and a surfer. All these sports which I love practicing are very important to me because I believe mental and physical health are challenged equally. I learned important values about determination, dedication and focusing on results. I participated in many competitions while practicing these sports. Through these competitions I learned how to deal with the frustration of losing, of making mistakes, and had the determination to get back up and try again. I also learned how important teamwork is, especially in the group dance competitions where the mistake of one could prejudice the team. Everyone has to work together to support each other in order to be successful. The skills I learned through my extracurricular activities are something that I carry with me in my career.
