tl;dr - I like coding. I love PHP and JS.

Hi, if you continued reading it's because (maybe, and just maybe) you're interested in knowing more about me! My name is Rafael Nogueira and I'll talk a little bit about how I got here. My passion for tech stuff started growing on me when I was around 10 years old and my dad got us our first computer. The fact that a machine was capable of doing so many amazing things got me fascinated and made me feel I had to dig deeper on that.

Well, when I was 13, I bought my first PHP book, back on that time when setting up a server on your local machine would take you days! Yeah, I had so much fun doing such things that I almost feel it now while writing this!

Then I got my first "job". I was 14/15 (I don't really remember). Web on that time was so nice and open. I used to download source codes from the sites I liked the most and play around with them (java applets, inline javascripts, inline styling...) for hours. We can still find some of those sites on web archive!

That was when I started understanding what javascript was capable of, how to make tables to change colors when hovering over them, how to make text flash on our screens and so on. It was magical.

On my early 20's, I discovered the fantastic world of Drupal, CMS' and all the nice things you could build to make non-technical people's lives easier. Man, that was so nice, compared to the previous things I was used to, it was some sort of love at first sight. Well, since then I've been doing a lot of Drupal (and I love it) and, of couse, javascript since I think it's on of the most fantastic languages I could never leave it behind.

I got so happy when I got my first Drupal certification that I decided to take all of them! I scheduled the tests without letting anyone know because I didn't want to get any pressure aside from my own. I passed them all (yay!) and that made me feel very confident I was going in the right direction.

So here I am today, telling you a little bit of my story and I very much hope to help you and I will be glad to hear from you! Hit me on the contact form and I will reply you as soon as I can :)

Thank you very much for your time and I wish you a happy day!
