I graduated bachelor and master in Informatics at UNIRIO, where I studied the use of visualization of political discussions to promote citizen participation. I am currently pursuing a doctorate degree in computer science at UFRJ.

I'm an enthusiast of projects that aims to use information visualization to promote citizen participation or understanding about issues relevant to society. At IBM we're doing just that: getting data from the buses and presenting it in a way that common citizens can comprehend and have new insights about that data.
