After studying Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing at the College of Business and Economics at California State University, Fullerton, I stepped into the world of retail management. It didn’t take long for me to realize that I was craving the next real challenge in my career.

That challenge came when I joined VMConfig, a provider of virtualization, data storage, cloud computing, disaster recovery, network infrastructure, and document-management solutions. As Director of Sales and Marketing, my role centered on seeking out and brokering new business opportunities between prospective clients and our principals. I built direct-mail, email, text, and phone-based marketing campaigns and truly cut my teeth on CRM tools like Salesforce — putting in no fewer than 50 hours a week. It was intense, foundational, and incredibly valuable.

Yet even with that momentum, I felt a growing pull toward creative freedom.

That led me to collaborate with a variety of exceptionally talented graphic designers and web developers, which pushed me to master the Adobe Creative Suite — Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. That blend of marketing knowledge, sales strategy, and hands-on creative skill eventually pointed me toward the dream I’d been carrying for years.

In January of 2009, I decided to make that dream real.

I founded Republic Design Company to help individuals, businesses, schools, and organizations RE-connect with their PUBLIC… REPUBLIC.

Today, as Principal of Republic Design Company, I help clients transform themselves and their markets through innovative design and practical, accountable brand strategy. Whether a client is redefining their promise, reinvigorating their internal culture, or setting a bold new direction, I bring together my marketing foundation and creative expertise to help them move forward with clarity, confidence, and a compelling visual identity.
