Rafena A. Soogrim

Rafena A. Soogrim is a Degree Student, who specializes in Academic Research and Writing, Human Resources, and International Business. She brings her academic experience in business and research to solve workplace issues in the real world.

Before beginning her current studies in the BIS program (with a professional focus in Human Resources), she graduated from the International Business, and the Liberal Arts diploma programs at Seneca College. While studying full-time, Rafena has managed to work several days out of the week as a Membership Service Advisor at CAA South Central Ontario, starting September 2014. At this position, she sends service vehicles to help Members whose vehicles have broken down, and in some instances, has assisted getting Members off of busy, dangerous highways.

Prior to this, Rafena was a Manager at Coffee Culture Café and Eatery. She was promoted to join the Management team in under eight months, and was a valuable member to the overall functioning of daily business at Coffee Culture. Rafena has also worked at various companies, including, but not short of, Zellers Inc., and Scarborough North Sleep Disorders Clinic in the past.

Rafena Soogrim lives in Toronto, Ont., where you’ll find her studying, working, and pursuing her personal interests in culinary arts, hockey, and advertising.
