Raffy Salazar

I am a registered Secondary Science teacher with over 15 years of international teaching experience, specialising in Physics and General Science for Years 7–13. I have taught in international, English Programme, and US school settings, working with IB MYP, US, and Thai curricula.

I am passionate about creating engaging, inquiry-based and student-centred learning experiences that encourage students to think critically, solve problems, and apply scientific knowledge to the real world. My expertise includes curriculum planning, assessment, laboratory instruction, STEM education, and student research.

I particularly enjoy mentoring students beyond the classroom through Science Fairs and research competitions. I have supported students in developing projects that achieved national-level recognition and led to selection for the GENIUS Olympiad in the United States. I believe in helping students become curious, independent, confident, and lifelong learners through meaningful experiences in science.
