Erik Rivera

Erik Rivera is a former amatuer boxer who has sparred in gyms with up and coming professionals such as Mike "lefty" Brooks, Leon Green, Anuedi Santos, Cletus Seldin and Danny Jacobs to name a few. All currently have successful careers. Born in Brooklyn New York, Erik was raised in South, Jamaica, Queens. In 2010 he walked away from boxing upon learning his mother has Dementia - a degenerative brain disease that ultimately leads to Alzheimers - to care for her. As if that weren't enough to deal with, he took on another challenge when he enrolled in fullsail's EBBS degree program.

Erik is an entreprenuer, and currently has stock in real estate. Upon graduating from fullsail he plans to Master his degree in creative writing where he has a background. He loves to write stories and would like to be involved in the filmmaking process behind the scenes. He would also like to try his hand at producing as well as directing films.

Not only does Erik have a passion for film, he would also like to come full circle by returning to the square ring he's familiar with, this time as a pro and go out on his own terms, as long as he is healthy.
