Rahru Arceneaux
Rahru R. Arceneaux is the Creative Director and founder of Haute Choc’lat Multimedia Group. Rahru has over decade of experience in PR, media relations, event management, and sales. Haute Choc’lat Multimedia Group is a boutique social media PR firm that seeks to create strategic relationships and establish placement in the Christian arena .
Her virtual media campaigns place her clients on blogs, podcasts, and internet radio stations and coach them to create authentic relationships with their fan base.
Originally from Galveston, Texas, Rahru has a degree in Communications with a concentration in Media and Film.While in School Rahru completed a summer internship as a public relations intern with Imagine It! The Children’s Museum of Atlanta. Where she worked on marketing and re-branding the museums’ education initiative. Rahru also completed The People's TV certified independent producer course where she worked as a Production Assistant for TBS Studios. Rahru also served as Pledge Ambassador for
Georgia Public Broadcasting for their quarterly pledge drives.
She began her career in Public Relation as Program Coordinator for The Triune Network, a traveling performing arts ministry that has toured nationally, with the plays When a Man Loves a Woman, Miracles, and Sistazz.
Before starting Haute Choc’lat Multimedia Group Rahru crafted her skills as a staff publicist with the Donna Briggins Agency. During this period Rahru worked on projects contracted independently through the Atlanta Entertainment Association, a grass roots organization that produced independent artist showcases. This resulted in collaborations with Arista Records, The Rialto Center For The Performing Arts, and Morehouse College.
Currently Rahru sRahru is an active member of The Atlanta Grammy Chapter where she started with Grammy University . She is a public relations and event management volunteer with the Georgia Entertainment Association (GEA). Rahru is also the state director (GA) for Verity Records Marketing and Promotions street team
Rahru is a 2010 YGEA Award Nominee for "Go Getta of The Year" and a 2010 nominee of the 7th Annual Black Essence Awards.
