Rahul Bhushan
Civil Servant and Academician in Bihar
Hey there, I’m Rahul, a Disaster Management Officer with the Government of Bihar, selected through the BPSC 68th exam with an All-India Rank of 53. My professional journey blends public service, academic research, and media experience—each adding a unique dimension to how I approach complex policy and governance challenges.
Before joining public service, I pursued a PhD at the School of Geographical Studies, focusing on “Food Security for Urban Homeless”. My research has been recognized at various international forums, including a presentation at the UN 2nd Geospatial Summit and conferences in China and Spain (hybrid mode).
I also hold a postgraduate degree in Mass Communication from the prestigious Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), New Delhi, and have previously worked in media and digital marketing, giving me a strong foundation in public communication and outreach.
