Rahul is a freelance photographer with an eye for truth, harboring experience with Northern California news media organizations.

He's published in CalMatters, Comstock's Magazine, Capitol Weekly, Sacramento News & Review, The Elk Grove Citizen Newspaper and The State Hornet.

Currently freelances for Sipa USA and CalMatters, with at least one of several coverages included in Reuters' wire service on behalf of the prior. Ultimate goal is landing a staff photojournalist position, but is open to almost any photo-op.

Established himself on an artistic base in high school, but transitioned to learning and producing photojournalism since 2018.

After covering a presidential candidate's town hall, in 2020, he stuck with photojournalism as his primary career option.

Goals of his, right now, include working on capturing better environmental portraits, shooting more photo essays, especially in the Sacramento region and beefing up sports experience.
